Juraj Szász /saːs/ is an independent researcher in molecular biology and bioinformatics. His primary research interests is evolutionary biology, and he is an active contributor to the Biopython Project, which provides an Open Source Python-based framework for bioinformatics. He also collaborates as a volunteer in various biology-related research activities.

The purpose of scientometric analysis is to provide qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the scientific work. It is being performed by statistical analysis of the publishing activity—addressing individual researchers, institutions or even whole countries. The quality of a scientific publication is derived from the number of citations. The amount of references to a paper determines its popularity, quality and its impact on scientific progress. The goal of this thesis is to carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis of the publishing activity of the academic staff members affiliated to Faculty of Natural Science, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodeus in Trnava during 2000–2016.
Phage therapy is use of bacteriophages, native bacterial parasites for therapeutic purpose. Multiresistant bacteria such as MRSA and VRE is big problem of modern medicine and the phage therapy is capable effectively treat the infections. The aim of the study is brief overview about phage therapy: history, benefits, disadvantages and future prospects.
